Established in 2015, Mahathi Infra Uganda Limited aims to vitalise the natural resource for Lake Victoria, the second largest lake in the world. Backed by deep engineering expertise and vast experience, Mahathi provides full range of specialised maritime infrastructure to the oil industry in Uganda. We work towards reducing the fuel transportation costs in Uganda, above 35 – 40% through establishment of the oil and marine infrastructure in the country.

The Ground breaking for the Project was initiated by The President of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Yoweri K. Museveni on June 16, 2016. Commissioned in August 2020, this project promises several direct and indirect benefits to the country and its economy. Each ship has the carrying capacity of approximately 150 trucks of fuel from the port city Kisumu on Lake Victoria to Uganda.
