Mahathi’s current project also includes construction of 4X4500 MT Oil Tankers at the site in Bugiri-Bukasa, for carrying fuel from Kisumu to Bugiri, Bukasa. The oil tankers shall be the first set of ships carrying Uganda flag and are built as per IRS classification society. The tankers are built in accordance with double hull configuration with sink-proof technology and adhere to international safety standards similar to ocean-going vessels.
